Hi all, I'm flybyknight, but you can call me Gary, Gaz or just shout Oi!!! I'm from Merseyside, UK.
I've been fiddling about with stereo surround for years. It all first started, for me, when I wired my HiFi speakers up the wrong way and got blown away by what came out of them...(not blown up though, I'm glad to report).
Anyways, I found this 'ghost' channel when I connected both red outputs to the same speaker and lots of hidden guitars, keys, vocals and stuff started popping out at me! That is where it all started for me and since then I have been trawling the internet and places reading and trying to create that magical surround sound.

I enjoy listening to Rush and I have upmixed the Chronicles and Through the Camera Eye dvds and also a few audio releases using Adobe Audition, Vegas and Surcode. Not totally satisfied with the results, so maybe it's time to try a new approach with different software.

PS: I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction, as regards converting Dolby Digital and DTS Wav files to 6 mono Wav files or an AC3 file, or even anything managable.

Thanks a million, Audio Muxer has done the trick, I had some personal 5.1 mixes I did with a friend and I'd lost the original wav files. This program gave me them back, I am so happy to have these as they mean a lot, thank you, thank you, thank you!
