Hiya peeps!

I'm a big fan and proponent of surround and hi-res music, I hang out at lots of places and if you know my avatar or username you might know a little bit about me and what I do already .

As well as my surround conversions I do a lot behind the scenes to try and help the surround formats' accessibility and technical potential (in authoring, encoding, ripping, converting and playback) - especially in the DVD-A and SACD areas.

I have never done any upmixing myself, but instead I just admire the work of some amazing upmmixes which I have experienced over the years.

I think upmixing is a great pursuit and I'd say that people who take part in it are real surround fans.

I look forward to seeing this site grow and grow and I wish you every success! I already see a fantastic section of guides, it looks awesome!
