Hello!
I am totally new at this and have spent many frustrating hours trying to follow – step-by-step – SBU’s beginners’ manual, with all necessary programs downloaded. After successfully converting FLAC files to wav files and creating a cue sheet, the instructions on SBU began to vastly differ from what I was seeing on the screen. At some point, I simply had to give up and delete all of the programs.
I admit to being a computer idiot, but am not a total and complete idiot (I do have a MENSA-level IQ): all I need is someone to sit with me and walk me through the process of going from a FLAC file or CD to a 5.1 DTS upmix just once. I would even be willing to pay someone to help me with this. The big problem is that I am located in Vienna, Austria, and when I travel (for work) it is mostly to Salzburg, Graz, Prague, and Budapest. I rarely get to the UK and haven’t been to the USA in a decade.
