I go to the SPEC guide on the "start here for your first project" and I can't seem to get past step 2, "Double-click on the SPEC 4.0 group to open the group controls:" The guide (at least from what I can see) doesn't tell you where to go to bring up the SPEC on the Group Controls. I can't find the screen that the guide is talking about. I click on Groups, then click on Spectral EQ, but my screen doesn't look like the example screen, I don't have all those options that the example does. Am I clicking on the right thing?

Yeah, you're definitely clicking on the wrong thing. You need to double-click on the SPEC group marked in yellow on the following picture:



which will then pull up this:
