These videos demonstrate how you can use a midi control surface, such as the Behringer BCF2000, to expand your control over SPEC by giving you real world faders, knobs, LEDs, and buttons. This means you can move multiple controls at once. Two hands and ten fingers vs. one mouse. Check it out! Part One: Part Two: One thing I forgot to mention in the second video is you need to save your preset (on the BCF2000) when you re-program the buttons to "toggle-on". Press the Store button (Store LED starts to flash), Select a Preset number to save to using the Preset buttons, press store again (more details on page 13 of the manual). For your reference: Part Three. A Midi Control Surface for $35 bucks! Z. |

Zee, even though I don't own a MIDI control surface, I can't even begin to describe how awesome this is. It really brings an extra professional touch to what we do, and I hope those lucky enough to have one of these toys in their arsenal take full advantage of this. Thanks again for your guides. I've long promised one of my own and, once some real life stuff gets a bit more out of the way, will bring them on here. |

Added a third video, about a $35 control surface, and another technique for midi "learning" of controls in Plogue. See the top post in this thread. |
