ZPan was then utilized in order to widen the sound in the fronts and reduce artifacting in the rears as much as possible. The 6 mono rears produced with AutoV2 were then run through a second bidule with Ozone4's "Subtle Dynamics" preset.
This is a mostly instrumental album by Trent Reznor with material which ranges from beatless ambient to beat-y industrial. I feel it shows off how the SLICE method can effectively handle both denser and sparser material, creating both very good separation AND soundfield when needed. I'm a bit fearful that Ozone made some of the louder songs a bit too bright on this conversion, but you may not think so.
Enjoy.
