Plogue Bidule is the main software needed to run most of the methods and techniques described here at the SurroundByUs.com forums. Unfortunately the software is not free, but it's not that expensive either! Current Version: Bidule 0.9690, July 6th 2009 Cost: $75.00 (USD) You can find everything you'll need to know about the software at the company website: After you have purchased the software and installed it, most of the methods described here at SurroundByUs.com will work "out-of-the-box" with Plogue Bidule. There are some methods and techniques that might use other commercial VST's, but most of the methods published here at SurroundByUs.com try to utilize and rely on "FREE" add-ons, VST's, software(s), plug-in(s), etc., with the exception of the host program of Plogue Bidule. |

Do you have any affiliation with the makers of Plogue Bidule? Are you on a sales commission from them? Are you the same people that developed Plogue Bidule? Any vested interest to declare? |

Not stupid. You need to manually remove target of the p2 shortcut (PlogueBiduleP2.exe), then re-run the spec installer. It will download and install the .9724 PlogueBiduleP2.exe and relink the shortcut. Or you could download the .9724 P2 yourself and replace the PlogueBiduleP2.exe in the \Plogue\Bidule folder. On the Plogue download site, P2 is listed as "Standalone discrete processing test version(version 0.9724)". Until those features are integrated, to update Plogue, you'll always have to down load and install the 32 bit standalone version, then download the P2 exe. Hope that's clear. |

Plogue .9724 has expired. I just got everything installed the other day and now when I run P2 its asking me for a registration key or to purchase. I eventually do plan to spam it, but I'm tight on funds right now and can't do it right away. I'd also like to experiment with SPEC a little before I commit $90 to Plogue. I will make a donation to you guys too. The Plogue web site implies that a newer version of Bidule should be posted for download with a 90-day expiration limit. Do you expect this to happen soon? Will there be any problem keeping SPEC and all of the other plug-ins installed and working when and if I install a later version of Bidule than .9724? Thanks, JAY |
