Need an advice. I have created a few DTS-HD MA solely because of this site and the kind folks behind it. I burn the .dtshd surround files to blurays and enjoy them in my BD player in a 7.1 surround home theater. But it is what on the screen of the TV that leaves me underwhelmed. Usually, it is scans of SACDs or CDs (their artwork). I want to 1) spam a software that will extract video from a BD that will work well with ambient or classical surround music - Planet Earth (BBC), for example; 2) Then somehow combined the soundtrack (some ambient or relaxing classical) with this silent video. I know this is ridiculous and I can enjoy them twice as much if I dont combined them into something they should never be, but... The truth is I want to try. I want to combined best of my pleasures together, kind like George Costanza (from the Jerry Seinfeld show) managed to combined spam, food and watching TV in the same one big pleasure (in the same big bed, actually). Questions. - What is this software than can produce a full 1080P rip of a BD and combined it with my already remastered SPEC albums? Software names, prices, links will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Walter. PS. About the Seinfeld episode. It was "The Blood". Episode no. Season 9. Episode 4, first aired in 1997. |

I've done that with adobe cs6. There may be less expensive programs that support DTS-HD MA, but at least that is one that does. |

cs refers to their "creative suite". Six is a version number. http://www.adobe.com/mena_en/products/c ... suite.html The three products I used were the Media Encoder, Premiere, and Encore. They also have a "cloud" version now, where you pay by the month. I don't recall what I used to rip. |

There are no editing programs that work witih DTS-HD MA. You need to extract the loss-less wavs from the DTS-HD MA . You use that in the editor (Premier) until everything is ready then you DTS encode the audio. Then you put the edited video and the encoded audio into encore and author the BD or DVD in encore. |
