I am looking to replace my 7.1 AVR with a new new one that has HDMI v1.3 or v 1.4 with decoding capability for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. I just bought a new OPPO blu-ray and I want an AVR to make full use of it's multi channel audio outputs. I would like to spend between 500.00 to 700.00. I have a small living room, so I don't need much power. I just want a very clean sounding AVR with the newest HDMI inputs and if possible 7.1 spam inputs. Can you please suggest some options for me? Thanks in advance. |

Well I spent a little more than that but I bought a Yamaha RX-A1010: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-vi ... 0_black_u/ and am very happy with it. I previously had a 5.1 system and was able to find another pair of matching satellites on ebay. I can control it from my iPhone/iPad. My main criteria was 7.1 spam in and out. |
