hello newbie here over from QQ trying to set up plugue and spec to try it out but whatever I do can't seem to get it to recognize the spec bidule. have all the updates. changed all preferences according to guide, in plogue,bidule,vstplugins folder have;spec4.2dll arctanpanMB.dll zag1.7.1 dll cc.dll panner.dll slice.dll livepcbidules.dll reaplugs peakcomp2mono.dll instrumentgate1.bgrp HNMfilter.dll in layouts folder added; spec421_zag17 release spec421_free_mastering spec4.0_release I am running win vista 32b any ideas or if I did anything wrong please advise as I am one second from deleting everything and starting over thanks kevin |

thank you very much! That is what I did wrong and now it is working. the installer did not work so I had to manually install. apparently wrong. I can't wait to try this out. thanks again, kevin |

I'm not sure where to go here but the installer came up in dos ,requested location of plogue, I typed c (enter), dos window closed , I went to look for spec and could not find it, however at first I did not know how to open the spec bidule, I assumed it would show up in the menu tree on the left, or as a right click on the main screen, but the plugins were not anywhere either, however I did forget about the step involving making a plugins folder first. until you said something. I thought the plogue vstplugins was the plugins folder and the c:vstplugins folder was the vstplugins folder, if that makes any sense. kevin |
