hello I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem w/zag? A loud buzz in the first few seconds of the recording as zag is counting up through its tracks, or the first few seconds are twice as loud as the rest of the material? If I turn off zag the problem goes away, however it is very useful, so what I have to do now is measure levels, and then for recording take the zag measurements and try to apply them manually and bypass zag for recording. a real pain in the a--. any input would be appreciated. sincerely, kevin |

are you recording while processing online or offline? the loud buzz is usually a sign of DSP overload. this would be the simplest cause of such. if it still happens with offline processing, we've got more sleuth work to do with your setup. |

if i'm understanding your question right. I am turning the switch on top to on. I thought you have to have it on to run anything?? and I'm not sure what dsp overload is? |

Re the dreaded buzz. Make sure your plogue dsp prefs are set as in the video guide. Buffer size 512. If you still have buzz you can lower your fft overlap. If you get the buzz during live monitoring move the position slider in the audiofile player. That often gets plogue "unstuck" |

ok, yes, buffer is 512, and I have had to move the slider to unstick . now if I'm understanding this right ; I should check offline processing, remove audio recorder ? , turn on ,measure my levels w/ zag. then to record; uncheck offline processing, turn on, reinstate my recorder, apply gains in zag, and away I go? I've never touched the offline processing tab, so I guess I'm always online. |
