Hi, I recently have been having a problem ripping the audio track from a DVD. Some one has put DTS formated music onto A DVD. I would like to rip the audio track and prepare a cue sheet. I need to have tracks separated so that I can play them on my appletv in a shuffle mode. |

DVD-A Explorer or Transcode should be of help with either. Just utilize the Google and you'll be able to find both programs in no time. |

Ok. I used DVD audio extractor to rip the DTS stream and save it as a CD image and create a cue sheet. it created 1 long wave files as i expected but the cue sheet contained song titles. I have tried to create my own cue sheet but i am not having any success. Any assitance would be great. Regards Gas... |

Hi. Thanks for your replies. Still not working though. I will go into more detail. I ahve an ISO file of Elton John's Honkey Chateau. It is a DVD. I user DVD audio extractor to rip the DTS stream and create a cue file at the same time. I ended up with a cue file with no song info or performer info. I used magicISO virtual cd/dvd mamager to mount the cue file. I open Itunes which i use for my appletv it sees the virtual dvd but does not seem to be reading the cue file. I have done this many times before with out any issues but this time I am having problems. I think it may be because the other images were cd images mot DVD. Any advice. |

Hi, thanks. I think you may be right. I was part of another forum like this a year or so back. I followed some instructons there that i found to put DTS tracks onto a DVD. I found it very time consumming and not worth the effort. May be I will try it again. Now I simply stream the DTS tracks through itunes to my appletv. I have approx 100 cds on the appletv and they play great through my home theater.. hit shuffle and go. By the way a dude named Keyser pointed me to this site. If you know him say thanks. Regards.
