Post subject: | Issue with listening to Plogue Output |
Ok so my last question was solved lets try another shall we? I can listen to plogue in 5.1 as i have the spam inputs going into my reciever. This is possible if i build my own sequence of plugins and add the Output device (speakers in my case). If however i try to add the output device to a premade bidule (I have tried several but not all) I get the following error: Cannot create bidule. Only one audio device on the patchbay at the same time. I am sure that this is something simple that i,m overlooking but i dont know what it might be. Any help with this is appreciated. |

I rarely get this error, but every time I do, I simply save the layout (if required), then close and restart Plogue. I turn processing off (on/off button at the top). I reload the layout and the audio device and it usually works right away. Remember that Plogue must be in "online mode" to have an audio device in the layout. This issue seems to be caused by a weakness in Plogue. |

I've had that happen as well, Mugs. Like Fan51 said, it seems to be just plain strange behavior on Plogue's part, as it gives that message even though there's nothing on the patchbay. saving, or simply just restarting Plogue, does the trick. |

I have had exactly the same problem and it drove me mad so many times. I don't know if it is the general solution but I always took care that there was no other software player open outside Plogue when the audio device was open in a Plogue layout. No problems anymore since then . . . |

I didnt know that it had to be in online mode to open the audio device. It is now working and sure makes a difference when you can tell what the changes do in real time. |
