After a long hiatus from audio I have returned and am going to update my wonderful (quad amped) stereo to a wonderful 5.4 or more system. I am very interested in the notion of upmixing my many two channel CDs to either three channel or to more if that is better. I have a long way to go to get everything wired up. One initial question I have is what hardware to users of this software like to use to play the processed files. After the computer but before the power amp. (or in my case before the electronic crossover network) I am guessing folks use an audio interface of some kind. Is there a preferred type? I look forward to lots of fun here. |

Yes, audio interface, although these days and hdmi connection is good for up to 7.1 |
