Hello everyone, my name is Noel and I have had a deep interest in surround sound from the very early days of quadrophonic sound on vinyl way back in the '70s. The technique really didn't fully succeed until digital technology and now we can get true separation of sound into not just 4 channels but 7. I have purchased many CD/ DVD albums by REM, Talking Heads and The Doors......these have wetted my appetite for more and now that I have found this community of surround sound enthusiasts, I feel right at home. I now wish to try my hand, or is that ear, at remixing some albums of my own and uploading for others to enjoy. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi and give a big thanks to all the people who started, maintain and contribute to this great Surround By Us Community. Cheers, Noel T. |
