Bienvenue Yves! For the audio part, you will first need to demux (extract) the audio stream from the file recorded by your camcorder. The software to do this depends on the format of the file. If your source is truly stereo (not double mono or Dolby PL1), then just follow the SPEC guide (and the new audio guide posted by Zeerround) and you should be fine. You will need to process at 48 KHz if the output is to be a DVD. You will then need to remux the surround audio stream with the original video stream. Again, the software to use depends on the format you want to play. DVDLab (ifo+dts or ac3) or VirtualDub (mp3+avi) would be good choices. Somehow, I have a feeling Audiomuxer could help you with this project, but I'm not sure how. Bonne chance! |

thanks for your responses my video is hdv 1080 25i (sony hdv) I use adobe premiere pro and I can create a video and an audio file separetely my audio file is stereo and for my next film, I'll try to use SPEC to create 6 mono wav Then I'll import these 6 wav mono files in nuendo (steinberg), i'l add music and sound effects and I'll hope to create an original soundtrack like John Williams !!!! From Nuendo I can export this soundtrack in 6 wav interlaced I import in adobe premiere this audio file and I can mux with my video. Not very simple but I think it will be allright.. I hope you can understand my very bad english!! I'll try also the way of Fan51 (virtualdub) or Pl4yitLOUD (tsmuxer).Perhaps it will be more simple thanks again cordialement |

Sounds great. The new John Williams is born tsMuxeR can handle 5.1 multi-channel PCM wav without any problem, but you will need a HDMI Receiver to play back the AVCHD or Blu-ray. You can also first convert the 5.1 multi-channel Wav to AC3 (see ) or to DTS (see ) and then you can play back your result through the normal optical/coax connection. |

thank you Pl4yitLOUD me too I prefer use freeware. I've just try SPEC 4.2 on my stereo soundtrack 48 khz and it's fantastic better than VI Suite plug in . I was looking for a long time to obtain this ambiance. I have just a little more reverb when I Have recorded crown or street sounds but I'm going to search the good settings. thanks again cordialement |
