I have two DTS CD's made from .wav files, My PS3 will only play noise, I have a SONY 910 reciever that decodes DTS, works fine with my WDTV all connections HDMI, tried Optical and same issue. I did the manual sound in the PS3 and removed the 88 and 172 boxes still no joy. The PC will only do a 2 chanel audio, I have a Realtek chipset that support up to 8 channel, conencted to SPDIF, I have doen DD over it not certain it an handle DTS. I am must interested in getting my PS3 to work, but the PC would do also. I aslo tried the FOOBOO and VLC players, no joy only two channel audio. Thanks. |

I got it to work on my PC only. Reinstalled the audio drivers and codecs. reset the setting in Foobar and it all worked. Very nice I am hooked. It even work in Media center and Media player, but not VLC or Power DVD. If I try to change any setting then it stops working. I am letting the computer do its thing and I am happy. in the Audio properties I simply clicked DD and DTS at 44.1 and 48. I did all the sugestions for the PS3 stuff and no help. maybe CD type -R versus +R what type are you using? Thanks for all the advice, Now I need to start looking into making these formats posible with some of my archived titles. |
