Let's remember that, when discussing how "SPEC" works with particular albums, etc., that all four SPEC settings (and, for that matter, the variance that occurs with tweaks within them) can, and will, produce drastically different results from one another. It will both help the new user, as well as future developments that, when a user would like to hear something done better, that we all make reference to what setting(s) we are talking about. Especially with ArcTan, there are potential new developments that are consistently being worked on, and what may be an issue for someone at the moment may be something that can be resolved in a later version.
