I went through some threads but couldn't find help, so:
I have some 96kHz 24bit surround FLACs from which I wish to create a surround DVD-video with Audiomuxer and IMG Burn to be played on my blu-ray player.
Audio conversion needs to be done for DVD-V format, but I've encountered the following problems: -After converting the files to AC3, and creating an AVCHD ISO I burn the image to DVD but when I play it on my BD-player, the sound has crackles and pops throughout. They are more evident during the silent parts of the music. The surround mix plays correctly otherwise. The MKV plays clean on my computer. -After converting the files to wavs (resampling to 48kHz and 16bit as Audiomuxer suggests) and creating a DVD ISO I burn the image to DVD but when I play it the surround information is somehow wrong, ie. the channels do not play correctly. No cracks or pops however. I can't try a AVCHD from the wavs, since the resulting file is bigger than the DVD capacity.
Any suggestions?
