Playing Different Music files simultaneously

Hi There,
I'm new to this forum,so sorry if my question is stupid or has a really obvious solution.
Anyway i want to play different files (or mix them) so that they play simultaneously.But what i really want is make the one track sound from the 2 front speakers and the other one on 2 surround speakers.Thanks in advance

Sure, all of that is doable in Plogue.

You can have any number of audio file players in a layout, and you can trigger them individually or link their play buttons so they all play and stop together.

There are also mono, stereo, and surround mixers available to do your mixing.

No that's not normal (with newer versions of Plogue anyway).

I finally managed to do it,all that remains is to make them start exactly the same time an record them

If you are doing it in Plogue you just need to link the file players to start at the same time. You can do this in the Parameters section of Plogue.
File player 1 play -link- file player 2 play.
