Bill, I certainly remember you from other forums. Welcome aboard.

These are the links that would be most useful to you starting out:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=171

and the latest version of SPEC can be found here:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=237

If you're starting with the method for the first time, this may seem a bit different than what you've worked with previously. Times and technology change, though, and we are confident we offer the very best stereo-to-surround technology anywhere on the net. Feel free to come to us with questions.

Upload your image with for example http://imageshack.us/ and then copy the "Forums" link you'll get back from imageshack in your message. That link looks like

first things first:

where are your SPEC, ZPAN, and ZAG plugins? where is your peak compressor VST? can you tell us what folder they are in?

SPEC, ZPAN, and ZAG are plugins, and not VSTs. they should go in the "plugins" folder in Plogue. i understand that older methods that are more based on externally-developed VSTs place most of their components in the VST folder, but mostly everything in SPEC is internally-developed.
