Hello, AntiVir 10 show a trojan horse in the file track-time 6.5.exe (Spec 4.2.1) with the name "TR/Drop.PerlBot.A". Haven´t found anything about this. Therefor I didn´t start the program. Please check and correct. Thanks for your great work. Greetings Mike |

Unfortunately, I'm at my day job right now and can't immediately look into this. I've asked Z and Fan51 to look into it as well, and they will provide an answer soon. TT6.5 has never presented an issue for me, however, and I did install this particular package, without issue, prior to uploading it here. |

I have tested with malware bytes and Symantec and it's clean. Sounds like a false positive. Tracktime is perl script compiled with Indigo's Perl2exe: The whole purpose of which is to let you drop files on it to use them as an input. I'll google on this later this morning. |

I don't see anything via google but I'll tell you what you can do if you're still concerned. Download and install Active state perl Then I'll send you the source code for tracktime so you can see what is in there Download the tial version of perl2eve so you can compile it yourself |

Thanks for your answers, I scanned also with avg and it is ok. I installed the program and there seems to be no problem til now. It seems to be a false positiv reaction of anti vir. greetz mike |

We changed the subject header of this post as to not be alarmist to those who may encounter this thread, but also maintain the information to help them work through any false positives that may occur. |

ok, they have too much to do and maybe 'they' can do something to let Avira/AntiVir working right without send wrongs advertences.  (  this is why i never use any anti-virus! better stay with my ghost images from clean install with all programs working or...i reinstall 'everything' if needed. is better than have 'something' working in the background sending falses messages...just MHO)cheers.
