strange.
why not 'expectations' as we all have more than 10 years old and we're still working?!? :lol:

if Plogue is working with lots of groups(96), .vst(34), layouts(246) and C++ is for win2000...
why not with SPEC? (i don't blame SPEC, must be something here but not the OS as all is compatible)

i have tools like DTS-HD Streamplayer 2_0, DTS-HD Master Audio Suite 2.00.24, lots of audio editors, SurCode MLP, discWelder CHROME, DVDAExplorer, ShaPLAY, DVD-lab PRO 2, DTS Pro Encoder and dozen more not recommendeds tools for win2000 that are working perfectly....some of this tools are 'forbiden' for this system but works here.
a miracle? can be!

i have backup, i deal with computers as technician and user for more than 28 years, don't worry.

better news but need more tweaks.
Plogue is working, no more advices and problems with C++.
both ArcTanPan dlls versions broke Plogue when SPEC-4.0_Release layout is loading, no matter what version is changed in the plugins folder.

removing ArcTanPan, Plogue load SPEC-4.0_Release layout, SPEC 4.0 group is red. (of course)
expanding SPEC 4.0 group, only ArcTanPan is red as was removed from plugins folder.
then, 'my' problem is ArcTanPan...

ideas are welcome but 'never say die' !

Does SPEC require a multichannel sound card to do the conversion? I ask because the Guide "Your first conversion", step 2, instructs "Note that you should record a multichannel wav for each track, not mono waves." However, I only have a stereo sound card, and when I look at the properties for the Audio File bidule, my choices for Channels per File are "mono" and "stereo".

Am I doomed or just dumb?

What modifications to the method do I need to make if I'm using mono waves? Or should I use stereo.?

Is it obvious how new this is to me?
