There is confusion because here, with the latest foobar2000 version 1.62, it's not working AT ALL. So I'll have to figure out when it stopped working and why.

What version of foobar2000 do you have?

Also I thought you wanted 6 monos (for DTS encoding) instead of a multichannel flac.

I'm still not sure what you are seeing. Could you send the complete output filenames? SpecWeb (by default) writes -mch.flac files directly. There are some intermediate temporary files that should get deleted each time.

e.g.:
"D:\Test Tracks\SpecWeb 2.3 Tests\CB\02 Fine By Me-mch.flac" <--- should be the only one left at the end (unless you ask to keep the all the others with the -x flag)

Let me clear the confusion.

1) If I use SpecWeb directly alone, I get mch flac output as you mentioned no issues.
2) If I use SpecWeb through Audiomuxer in output I get apart from mch flac output, same file I get one more in uncompressed wav format. This I think Audiomuxer creates & which command I have to put off in Audiomuxer?
3) Foobar 2000 Version 1.6.2 I'm using & it is working but not directly as per procedure given in SpecWeb guide but with changes I have mentioned.But output volume is damn low.

For #2, SpecWeb in AudioMuxer:

Make sure those boxes I've highlighted on unchecked.

That will give you only the 5.1 .new.flac (assuming you pressed the "flac" button in AudioMuxer) and a .ini file, which can just be deleted. It is a copy of the SpecWeb settings that used to upmix your song (The settings in the above dialog).

I don't think there is a way to keep that file from being generated, as I already have "Store separate SpecWev ini file for each track" unchecked.

FYI you can open the .ini file in any text editor, such as Notepad (Notepad++ recommended).
