Im sorry mi english I hold here a compressor limiter (output 5.1), I got a page (http://www.dtsac3.com/) long, free plug-ins work with, and works well. I find it nothing but climb saludoss |

only really take care to measure the output of the compressors/limiters. using single gains to decrease the levels means nothing as the output still can be clipped after lower the gains! something like this ilustration is a good example: audio source->InputGain->compressors/limiters->RMS Buddy1->OutGain->RMS Buddy2-> ...etc! if the first RMS Buddy1(or led, or other) give advice, just decrease the InputGain and encrease the OutGain to the desired/permissive level. after find the rights levels without clips you can by-pass the RMS Buddyes to record.(this turn my old pc faster). cheers! |
