Hi. I have processed a track in SPEC. It created 6 separate WAV files just fine. I can play each separately and they work fine. Each corresponds to the right channel and produces the right sound. But when I use DTS-HD Master Audio Suite to encode them into a single WAV file, the resulting WAV is nothing but white noise. I tried it in MediaMonkey and Foobar.
Here are my settings in DTS-HD suite:

Destination format: DTS Music Disk (WAV)
Channel Layout: 5.1
Sample Rate: 44100
TC Frame: 23976
Bit Rate: 1234

Why is there white noise instead of 5.1 DTS audio file?

PS. I am still struggling with cue file load in SPEC. I have not done that during conversion. Not sure if it has anything to do with this. Probably not because the resulting 6 audio files are fine. Just the encoded one is giving me grief.

To play a dts wav file in foobar you must have the foobar dts plugin.

Go ahead and burn it to a cd and test in a DVD or BluRay player with a digital connection to your receiver (spdif or hdmi).

For the cue file; open notepad and then open the cue file in notepad. Notepad is expecting .txt files, so you may have to change the file type to * (any type) in the file open dialog.

Once you have the cue file showing in notepad, select the entire file, and copy and paste it into the top box in zag.

SUrCOde CD Pro is for CDs, not DVDs.

CDs are 44.1Khz and you burn them with the dts wave file (by editing the cue file to point at the dts wave file, so you get the individual tracks).

DVDs are 48 Khz and have the audio muxed with a video container before being burned to a DVD. This is the main function of audiomuxer.

For CD:

Stereo CD --> Spec --> DTS CD encoder --> edit cue file to point to new dts --> use cue file to burn to cd with imgburn.

For DVD:

Stereo CD --> resample to 48 Khz --> Spec --> DTS DVD encoder --> Audiomuxer --> use cue file to split into chapters --> mux to DVD --> burn image or VIDEO_TS folder to DVD.
