This note regards making DVD Audio for use in a car DVD. I read some where that (I think Fan51) was authoring DVD with numerous selections/albums. Do you use a menu? My car grays out the menu when I am driving so if your does the same, how do you change/link from one album to another? Is 96 kHz much better than 48? Have you had problems with DVD slideshow crashing? For me, it crashes at #6 or #7 slide duration change. Thanks |

Zeerround Glad to hear you are enjoying music in your nice car. My request is specific to 24/96 DVD-A 5.1 lossless for a DVD-A Player in the living room. Not comparable situations, at all. I agree that mp3 and DTS CD are excellent for mobile situations. Listening in the quiet environment of home, on quality gear, DTS-CD sucks in comparison to real DVD-A. But DTS is getting better. This Master DTS thingy is a vast improvement on the old DTS. |
