Its def irritating for a novice/noob like myself, diving into the awesome world of suround DTS and whatnot, and not be informed as much as I am now about my soundcard having dts capabilities. I just bought an Auzentech x-plosion card thinking that would enhance my output capabilities all while using spdif. Well the uninformed novice is how people make their money. Im sure its a great soundcard for someone but, not what i wanted. Im glad there IS an spam to enlighten me on these matters.

Again, thank you!!

According to what I read about the Auzentech xplosion, it has DTS Connect. The card should be able to convert multichannel spam into DTS to pass to your AVR over SP/DIF where it can be decoded back to spam for output to your speakers. Whether or not it will do this from Plogue may depend on what device is exposed under Audio Devices in Plogue.
I have never had a card or motherboard with DTS Connect so I can't tell you the particulars, just make sure you have any/all driver updates and try.
