Hi,
I have a good collection of music DVDs and I'm trying to make a selection by taking specific songs from the collection and making a single multi-channel DVD out of them. I'm glad I found this webpage, because now, I won't be limited to only picking up DTS and AC3 encoded tracks, since I will also be able to upmix LPCM tracks and include them in the compilation. Thanks to all of you. I'm trying to make my first upconversion, but in the meanwhile I have come accross the first difficulty: tracks have been recorded at different volume levels, and each time a new song starts, I end up using the remote to increase or decrease the volume. Obviously this doesn't work. Is there any way to "normalise" the volume level of DTS, AC3 (and eventually LPCM upmixed) tracks so that all of them end up sounding at a similar level?
Any input will be appreciated
