Thanks again, I'l go with the SPDIF method.

I don't know much about these things technically, but Surcode DVD-DTS will create DTS WAVs at 48 kHz, see below:

That is what I was hoping could be accomplished, to set the output of Surcode to .wav rather than the default of .dts when using Audiomuxer. It's strange, after I encode to .wav in Surcode, close the program and restart it, it maintains the .wav output as default. But when I use Audiomuxer to call Surcode to do the encoding it always reverts back to .dts.

48kHz DTSWav files are not really standard since DTSWav was intended for CD, therefore it had to be in 44.1kHz. Definitely a Surcode-'special' since other encoders will not allow it. I would stick to the SPDIF'ed DTS files.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a simple Audio DVD but having a problem with 99 titles limit.

Here is my sequence:
1. Select a single AC3 audio file, click Cue Split and have properly splitted first album
2. Select anoter AC3 audio file and click Cue Split and have properly splitted second album
3. Click Mux To DVD
4. DVD is created without errors

Instead of having two titles with corresponding chapters for each album the resulting DVD always have one title and all the songs from both albums are in this title.
Because of that I can't add more than 99 songs.
I obviously missing something here.

Your help is appreciated.

Hi,

Since I upgraded my windows from 7 to 10, I'm unable to install Audiomuxer because of ''missing Avisynth.dll'' error.

While installing it asks me if I want to install Avisynth too... I say ok, it downloads and install Avisynth.
It completes installation without any problem but, when I try to start Audiomuxer I see an error about missing Avisynth.dll

I tried to google this dll, reinstalled Avisynth seperatly, uninstalled & reinstalled each program 10 times, downloaded Avisynth.dll seperately and added it to Audiomuxer folder, edited the registry keys...... nothing solved this problem.

Is there a way to fix this problem to use Audiomuxer again in Windows 10?

Thanks from advance

I haven’t read all the posts under AudioMuxer so these direction may be redundant.

Here’s how I make a DVD to listen to 5.1 music in my car – my vehicle 2010 Buick with DVD player. There might be an easier way – I don’t know.

I’ve had a few issues with AudioMuxer splitting the Cues and then writing them to a DVD/ISO output. Would work for MKV but not DVD/ISO. Below is my work around.

1. Convert selected music files to 5.1 Surround per the SpecWeb manual

2. Join files using AudioMuxer
a. Do this first - Re-sample mch flac back to 48000 (at 96000 sometimes the joined wav file could be too large and
AudioMuxer wouldn’t convert to ISO, even if re-sampled later in the process) – click Return when done
b. Convert mch flac to mch wav
c. Select “Join Wav or Flac files” under Tools
d. Uncheck “group by suffix” – do this before you select files
e. Select Files
f. Check Re-Tag
g. Click Join Files button
h. Choose output directory/name file
i. Click on Tag button
j. Save CueFile (maybe rename)
k. Click OK when the “Input List will now be cleared” window appears
l. Then Click Return button

3. Write Files to DVD – ISO using AudioMuxer
a. Convert Wav file created above to DTS
b. Go to Tools - Click Audio Conversion and click Select Audio
c. Select Wav file Joined by above process
d. Click on DTS button
e. When completed click on Return
f. Select file
g. Click CUE Split
h. Select previously saved CUE file when prompted
i. Edit Cue entries if desired
j. Under Mux To options uncheck all except ISO
k. Drag/Drop newly created ISO file to VLC player to check songs have been split by CUE
l. Burn to DVD using a DVD Burning program- some retail programs allow you to merge multiple ISO files to one DVD depending on size of ISOs

I hope this helps someone

That's quite strange. I have just tested it with several of my test files and here it works fine.

A.DTS file
--> AudioMuxer: SPDIF conversion of A.DTS file to .Wav file with DTS stream inside
--> FFMPEG: copy function to get DTS stream back in B.DTS file
--> AudioMuxer: Again SPDIF conversion of B.DTS file to .Wav file with DTS stream inside

Repeated the same process on B.DTS (FFMPEG COPY --> SPDIF) and that works as well.
Maybe, PM me your test file and I have a closer look if you want.

Hello.
I am not sure if only I discovered it, but AudioMuxer generates chapter delay, which increases with every minute in the output file.
Below I paste a list of 80 one-minute chapters in the test project that I did. As you can see, in mkv file the delay appears after the first minute and increases.

As you can see, after 53 minutes the delay compared to the beginning of track 53 is 1 second. The player will not play this track from the beginning. To avoid this, I have to manually correct the start of individual audio tracks in the "cue" file. This is very time consuming.

If possible, please fix this error.

Best regards ;)
