in the guide , below 'THE ENCODING PROCESS' have a Screenshot of SurCode MLP Encoder showing the 'Channel Assignment' where is chosed: (Group 1) Lf, Rf / (Group 2) C, LFE, Ls, Rs. reading MLP manual.pdf, have a table showing of 21 combinations of channel assignments where: 12 Lf Rf / C LFE Ls Rs (Group 1=2, Group 2=4 channels) but i always use: 17 Lf Rf C / LFE Ls Rs (Group 3=3, Group 2=3 channels) have differences in the result as all sources in the guide are 24/96 ? |
